HOW TO ORDER
Ordering with Charming Book Clips is easy. Browse the design categories and when you find an item you want to order simply click on the order button for that item. A Paypal shopping cart page will open in a separate window and display a line item for the Charming Book Clip that you ordered. Click the Continue Shopping button if you want to order more Book Clips. Once you have finished shopping, simply add your Zip Code to the Paypal shopping cart page and click Update. The form will calculate the Shipping and Sales tax if applicable. Click on the Proceed to Checkout button. The next screen is where you will opt to pay without a Paypal account by selecting the Continue button in the “Don’t Have a Paypal Account” section, or to pay using your Paypal account by entering your Paypal login information. Follow the instructions to pay with your credit card or bank account.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
At this time we do not take International orders.
PAYMENT OPTION
We use a secure Paypal shopping cart system. You will not need to have a Paypal account to make your payment using your credit card. However, you can choose to pay using your Paypal account at checkout.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
Once Paypal notifies us of your payment we will process and ship your order as soon as possible and email you a shipping confirmation. We ship within the Continental US using United States Postal Service (USPS) priority shipping for all shipments. The cost for shipping up to 15 items via USPS priority shipping to the same address will be $5.95 and take approximately 2 – 3 business days according to USPS. For item quantities greater than 15 shipping will be $11.95.
Please note that in some very rare instances USPS may take up to 14 days to deliver.
RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
We know that you are going to be delighted with your new Charming Book Clip. We want you to enjoy your Charming Book Clip and I personally take great care to handcraft a quality product, however, if you should find a defect in craftsmanship please contact us within 30 days of your purchase date via email to customerservice@charmingbookclips.com. We will repair your Charming Book Clip or provide a replacement of the same Charming Book Clip design if necessary. If an exact replacement is not available we will offer an optional comparable design or a refund.
SALES TAX
New Jersey State sales tax of 7% applies to residents of New Jersey.
CARE FOR YOUR CHARMING BOOK CLIP
You are going to love your new Charming Book Clip and use it often. It has been crafted with care to be of high quality to endure all the love of use. To keep it looking and working it’s best, try to avoid excessive pulling of the ribbon or charm. Occasionally you may want to gently polish your silver components with a clean soft cloth or polishing cloth to keep them shiny. Expect your genuine pewter charms to develop the classic beautiful patina that pewter is known for. Should your ribbon become soiled, gently surface clean with a wash-cloth and mild soap and water.
NORMAL WEAR
If you opt to clip your Charming Book Clip to the cover of a hard cover book rather than the binding, you may find that the clip will loosen a little bit because some of the covers are much thicker on hard cover books. If you then want to clip your Charming Book Clip to a paperback cover and find that it seems a little loose, simply clip a few additional pages along with the paperback cover. Or you can also take common household needle nose pliers and gently crimp the clip tighter.
I take great care to produce a high quality durable product, but like all things it is not indestructible. Excessive pulling on the ribbon or charm may cause those components to break or separate.
LEAD SAFE
When using charms with crystals, I only select genuine Swarovski crystallized elements. Swarovski crystal components have been regarded as the highest quality machine cut and polished crystal beads in the world since 1892. Please note that Swarovski crystal contains lead oxide which maximizes the way light refracts through the crystal and gives them an almost diamond-like sparkling quality. Austrian Swarovski crystal contains approximately 32% lead. Full lead crystal must contain above 30% lead oxide content in order to be considered full lead crystal. Please note, lead levels in these products comply with FDA standards and are therefore safe to handle and wear. Please see WARNING section below.
WARNING
Please be advised that Charming Book Clips are not intended for children and should be kept away from infants, toddlers and children as they may be more likely to place these items in their mouths. As with all jewelry, Charming Book Clips should never be put in the mouth or ingested as it can be harmful and present a choking hazard.
